The death of Cindy James on June 8, 1989, remains one of Canada’s most chilling and puzzling unsolved mysteries. Cynthia Elizabeth James, a 44-year-old nurse from Richmond, British Columbia, was discovered in the yard of an abandoned house, hogtied with her hands and feet bound behind her back, a nylon stocking around her throat, and with a fatal combination of morphine, diazepam, and flurazepam in her system. For years, Cindy had been stalked by an unknown perpetrator, however the police disagreed. Was Cindy murdered or did she die by suicide?
