Episode 514: The Unsolved Murder of Betsy Aardsma

Betsy Aardsma was doing research for her English paper at Penn State on November 28, 1969 when she was attacked in the Stacks at the Pattee Library on campus. Despite multiple people being nearby when she was stabbed and seeing the man who presumably stabbed her flee, her case went cold and remains that way today, nearly 57 years later. The Pennsylvania State Police are still actively seeking information on the case. Anyone with information about Betsy Aardsma’s murder is asked call the Pennsylvania State Police at (717) 783-5599.
