Episode 478: Ryan Shtuka
Ryan Shtuka was a 20-year-old from Beaumont, Alberta, who disappeared in the early morning hours of February 17, 2018, while living and working at Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia. After attending a silent disco and a nearby house party, Ryan was last seen around 2:00 a.m. as he appeared to be leaving to walk the short distance home, but he never arrived. Extensive searches by police, search-and-rescue teams, and volunteers found no physical trace of him, and his phone and social media activity stopped completely. Despite years of investigation and ongoing public awareness efforts by his family, including memorial events and campaigns, Ryan’s disappearance remains unsolved.
