Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind was just 22 years old, about to start her life as a mother, when she was stolen from the world by two monsters. Dubbed “womb-raiders”, a woman and her boyfriend killed Savanna to get her baby. Today, Savanna’s Act works to help improve the federal response to missing or murdered Indigenous persons (MMIP), including by increasing coordination among Federal, State, Tribal, and local law enforcement agencies.
