Episode 517: The Tragic Case of Kayla Huff
Kayla Rose Huff, a 16‑year‑old from Moberly, Missouri, was reported missing on May 6, 2026, after she failed to return home and stopped responding to her family. She was last seen walking with her 17‑year‑old boyfriend, who later became a juvenile suspect. A massive, week‑long search focused on the Rudolf Bennitt Conservation Area, a large, remote wilderness spanning three counties. Police later arrested five adults and one juvenile, filing multiple charges. The community held vigils, prayer gatherings, and memorial events. Her father, Mike Huff, publicly thanked supporters and announced a scholarship fund in Kayla’s name.
